With so many people worried about their health there is a lot of information out about what you should do to ensure you have good health? The problem is what direction due you go in? What is true, what isn’t true? Which study is right which isn’t? These are questions everyone has and will always have. Even though you will always have to answer these questions there is a way to sift through the B.S. and get the answers you need.

First, you need to understand that when a study is done on health or fitness the amount of people which they use is very small compared to the general population. Second, these studies don’t take into consideration the stresses and trials of real life. Third, they are looking at one aspect and are not getting a broader picture of how the thing they are studying affects other aspects of your health.

Basically studies are a guide or warning of what could happen. Take for example eggs, do they raise cholesterol do they have no effect. I don’t know, but I do know I had four grandparents who lived to 89 or above and they ate eggs at least 5 days per week for 70 plus years. Looking at this example you can see studies don’t always give the answer to your questions.

Really all you can do is take in the information given to you and find what works best for you. This doesn’t mean giving up because it’s easy it means actually trying different things a finding out what works best. So stay strong and give it some time and you will get the answer you are looking for.

To you success

In our society today the idea of health and family doesn’t go with the idea of success. We are preached to work hard to get where we need to be. The problem is people have the idea the more new sh*t they have or the more money they can blow at the bar is the way to show they have made it in their life.

Now this brings me to what we are missing. By creating a society which depends more on the amount and/or quality of your belongings we have forgotten about the importance of our health and family.

Modern Family

Forgotten_Family

Most can relate to this in one way or another, I would think.

Now to change this we as people need to make a change slowly back to a society that puts health and family first. Does that mean you can’t go out and have a good time ever so often, no. It means instead of trying to impress people who don’t care about you, start spending time with those who do care about you.

Now most are going to say there just isn’t enough time in a day to take care of my health and spend time with my family.

My answer to that is Bull Sh*t

You can make time for your family and take care of yourself with some very easy changes.

First off start eating better and including your kids on the meal choices. Explaining to them the importance of different foods.

Second include your kids when you workout. Now for those of you who are say to yourself, “But that is my time”, quit whining and suck it up. Your kids are only going to be young once. Besides most kids just want to spend time with their parents.

There will be more to come on this topic but for now I am going to go workout and play with my kids.

Stop Sittin, Start Doin

If you are like most people you have searched and searched for an identity for yourself. The question is why due you search for an identity when you already have one.

Now you might not understand what this means so lets take a look.

Do you watch things on TV, read articles and listen to music and think I need to be more like that. If so you are on the right track to finding yourself but the one place you aren’t looking is at yourself.

While you take in all of this external stimulus and try to piece together your own identity you are overlooking the qualities that make you and always have made you.

To find your identity you need to take a deep look inside and find the characteristics which stand out for you. While searching for these characteristics just think of what friends say you are and make a list. For example, if you are outspoken, if you are quit and so forth. By doing this you have found your identity at the present time.

Now comes the hard part, use them to your advantage. What this means is be proud of who you are and the traits you possess. If you are proud of who you are and the traits you possess your confidence will go up and you will begin to believe in what you are trying to accomplish.

By showing the new found confidence in who you are you won’t make everyone happy and might actually offend the occasional person. Offending people is going to happen but as long as you are you then who cares, you are the only person you need to answer to, besides more times than not if you are yourself people are going to appreciate your views and opinion more.

So take some action find your personality traits and use them to your advantage.

To your Success

Have you ever noticed common sense is becoming harder and harder to find. People seem to be like cattle and follow others blindly without thinking the situation through. This has got to stop; people have to get a clue.

What I mean by Clue is think for yourself don’t just listen to anyone and everyone just to make it easier.

For example:

How many people have you seen run out and get the latest diet book or the latest supplement even though the last diet book and supplement didn’t work.

Or

How many people have you seen by huge houses or expensive cars when they can’t possibly make the payments.

Sometimes you don't need a sign to make the correct decision.

Now to me everyone has some type of impulse or trigger that forces them to act blindly but now more than ever it seems like that impulse does most of their thinking for them. I personally run into people, on a daily basis, who just don’t have a clue about much. They have to refer to something to tell them the answer to their problems or what decision to make on a problem. Come on people everyone makes mistakes but think things through before you make a decision and try to form your own no biased opinions not just those of others.

To your Success
