If you have read the previous post on common sense, you probably have been thinking of situations in your daily life where people just don’t use common sense. The best example of this is with their personal fitness, heck the industry it’s self sometimes.
With fitness everyone is looking for the magic cure, about the same way they want the magic equation to get rich. When looking for this magic they lose site of what really works.
The answer is simple WORK!!!
Now I know you didn’t want to here WORK as the answer but it is simply the only way you will achieve your fitness goals. But wait, maybe if you look really hard you will find the answer you desire.
WRONG!!!
While there is nothing wrong with spending time educating yourself about the different fitness programs (I highly recommend it) you still need to make actual steps towards your goals. That mean quit pushing buttons and push your butt off the seat your in and do something.
Here this will help you get started:
1. If it sounds to good to be True it is.
Don’t buy into these gimmick pieces of equipment or programs that promise unbelievable results with as little effort as possible.
2. Find out what has worked in the past.
If the program or equipment worked in the past it is going to work now.
3. Consistency
Once you decide on a program stick with it for at least 4 weeks. Then start exploring other programs. Jumping from one program to the next won’t help so be consistent.
